For over 35 years, Gulf Shores residents and visitors have played this beautiful course, which has challenged all levels of golfers. The golf experience is heightened by the beauty of the natural surroundings and the antics of local wildlife. It is not unusual to spy an alligator, fox squirrel, or a blue heron along the course.
After a lengthy renovation, an AIG Baker entity purchased the Gulf Shores Golf Club in February 2007 and re-opened the course under the name “The Golf Club of The Wharf.” The affiliation between the golf course and The Wharf continues to fulfill The Wharf’s commitment to the finest amenities package for its owners and guests through their membership in the Armada Club at The Wharf.
AIG Baker plans to provide temporary clubhouse and cart facilities while the permanent facilities are under construction. These temporary facilities will be in place by early May 2007.
